Djembe workshop

Joint activity with African drummers
for company events, birthdays, summer events, camping trips

What is it about?

Fun and engaging group activities. During the drumming workshop, the team becomes one big “bell” and learns to feel the rhythm of themselves and their fellow musicians. The basics of Djembe are simple and the activity is suitable for all age groups!

How does it work?

Each participant in the drum ring will receive an African drum. Let’s get acquainted with the drum and start testing the beats. From there we move on to learning the rhythms of Djembe. At the end of the drum workshop, we are a united ensemble that entertains with various songs.

There are no prerequisites for participating in the workshop – everyone can do it and a memorable time spent together is guaranteed.

How long does the workshop last?

The duration of the workshop is from half an hour to an hour, depending on the schedule of your event.

How many people can participate in the workshop?

I have 40 Djembe drums in stock at all times. It is possible to rent additional drums, so up to 80 people can play at a time. However, it is also possible to divide the group into groups and run several different drumming sessions.

We’ve also commissioned a djembe workshop for 500 people at a time – in which case we’ve been creative and included saxes and body instruments, and the biggest rhythm section in history was born.

If I started playing Djembe, what to do next?

It is also possible to come to me for drumming lessons – alone, in pairs or in a group. From time to time I also organize public Djembe tours, where I look forward to seeing everyone. The quickest way to find out more about it is on my Facebook page.

In addition, all the Djembes used in the drum circle are secretly for sale – some participants have not had the courage to return their drum after the workshop and have bought one.
